Les premiers touristes dans ces r\u00e9gions \u00e9taient des Britanniques et des Allemands, vers 1923. Les kayakistes sont arriv\u00e9s en 1931, en provenance d'Autriche et de Tch\u00e9coslovaquie. Cependant, des \u00e9crits historiques du Mus\u00e9e de Fo\u010da sugg\u00e8rent que des riches Autrichiens pratiquaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 le rafting sur la Tara et profitaient des charmes de cette beaut\u00e9 europ\u00e9enne d\u00e8s 1905.
