Elle est form\u00e9e par les rivi\u00e8res Opasanica et Veru\u0161a, sous la montagne Komovi o\u00f9 commence son voyage. Le canyon de la Tara est le deuxi\u00e8me canyon fluvial le plus profond au monde, apr\u00e8s le Grand Canyon du Colorado, et le plus profond en Europe. La rivi\u00e8re s'\u00e9tend sur 146,6 km de long, tandis que le canyon atteint une profondeur de 1333 m\u00e8tres. La zone de rafting la plus attrayante se trouve dans les 25 derniers kilom\u00e8tres du cours de la rivi\u00e8re.\n\nLa Tara, souvent consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme l'une des plus belles rivi\u00e8res au monde, est \u00e9galement connue sous le nom de \"Larme de l'Europe\" en raison de ses eaux cristallines, s\u00fbres \u00e0 boire de n'importe o\u00f9 le long de son cours. Le canyon est prot\u00e9g\u00e9 par l'UNESCO pour pr\u00e9server sa nature sauvage unique et la beaut\u00e9 de ce patrimoine naturel mondial. La flore du canyon de la Tara est incroyablement diversifi\u00e9e, avec certaines des plantes les plus rares au monde, le pin noir \u00e9tant l'une des plus symboliques. La r\u00e9gion renomm\u00e9e pour ces arbres est connue sous le nom de Crna poda, ou les Terres Noires. De plus, le canyon de la Tara est riche en faune, abritant diverses esp\u00e8ces sauvages telles que des cerfs, des chamois, des sangliers, ainsi que de nombreuses esp\u00e8ces de poissons telles que la truite, le vandoise et le sneep.\n\nSe promener dans les for\u00eats de Tara \u00e9voque un sentiment de magie. Par moments, on a l'impression que les arbres chuchotent des rimes elfiques ou que les Elfes eux-m\u00eames vous appellent.
