Pivsko jezero

The River Piva its left shorter headwater of the Drina river and partly forms the border between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. In the upper course, a hydroelectric power station and dam called Martinje has been built, thus creating the artificial Lake Piva. The dam is 220 meters high, making it one of the tallest dams in Europe. The view from the bridge on the River Piva is literally breathtaking.
