Perucica rainforest - Ancient forest that takes your breath away. Perućica is one of the richest natural habitats of the old continent. The greatest gem of National park Sutjeska. It is forest in the heart of Maglić, Volujak and Vučevo mountains. It is unique in its landscapes: vast valleys, deep forests with trees above 60 m, green grasslands, clear streams and cold water wells. One of its treasures is kakavac waterfall, falling from the height of 73 m. On the rests of old trees new life forms making such a rare natural laboratory with both, scientific and aesthetic significance. This forest is a place where you can discover true, primordial beauty of nature.
